WILD HORSE FOUNDATION

Horses available for adoption.

Hello, my name is Cimarron Texas Spirit.  I am a Steens Kiger registered Mustang.  My friends below are looking for homes.  They are new arrivals off the range and are looking for loving homes.

We are here today, but we could be adopted tomorrow.  So complete your adoption paper work and mail it in, with payment and you can hold me for 7 days until you can stop by to visit.  We reserve the right to approve adoption until all final paperwork is completed.  The three (3) adoption forms are located at the bottom of the page.  We must have all three (3) documents completed, mailed in or hand carried to the Wild Horse Foundation for the process of adoption approval.

Some other horse adoption agencies have their adoption fees set sometimes considerably higher.  We would much rather see the horses in loving homes, getting on with the rest of their lives, with the personal attention of the adopters and family.  The studs are priced this way for the simple reason; gelding fees are anywhere from $80.00 to $100.00 depending on what part of the country you are in.  Add this price with the adoption fee and the cost is approximately $125.00 per wild horse.  Since we are non-profit organization and depend solely on donations and/or adoptions fees to grow, this is our contribution to making owning a horse a reality.

More pictures will be posted soon.

Our Wild Horse Foundation Extravaganza and show was a huge success!

There are more of us to be adopted, but we are the most available and ready to go to homes.  We have all our current shots, boosters and coggins.  Comin get me, comin get me, comin get me!

The spirit of the west is represented by the presence of wild mustangs and burros that roam our public lands.   The Wild Horse Foundation mission is to reinforce the continued existence of these living legends so that our children's children will also be witness to the true beauty and freedom that these magnificent animals represent, before they become forever extinct!

Please help us.....we are looking for loving homes that will provide good care and training!  If you have always wanted a horse, but do not have room we offer many alternative suggestions for your support:

Funds needed!

Foster homes needed!

Permanent homes needed!

To adopt or foster we require completion of the Wild Horse Foundation adoption requirements, adoption application and adoption agreement.

Currently we have Nevada Comstock horses.  See adoptions page
