If this is your first adopted wild horse or burro, we can attempt to find a mentor, someone to assist you in your area or you may return to any of our clinics in the first 6 months of your adoption period to have free training provided for your horse. We reserved the right to limit these training times for space availability.  A mentor is a previous adopter who is willing to assist you with your animal once you bring it home. We cannot guarantee that mentors will be available. Some may require a fee to cover fuel, hotel and meals.
