Howdy, My name is Cimmaron, Texas Spirit. My cousin only 2 years ago, not old in horse years, is the movie. While I'm only just over 1, I am full of ego and love to have fun. I am 100% Steen Kiger Mustang. Please come by and see me. I have a lot of stories to tell on how it feels to be a part of something bigger than all of us. Cimmaron, Texas Spirit

We have a new spirit here at Wild Horse Foundation and his name is Cimmaron, Texas Spirit. Yes his cousin which only 2 years ago is the movie, Donner, Spirit of the Cimmaron. He is a registered 100% Steen Kiger Mustang. We will posting pictures of him soon. In case some of you haven't kept up with the movie and what it was about please take the time to see or rent the movie. As with Cimmaron you see the great wild mustang instincts and how the west was won using these great horses. While some will argue the point, these magnificent horses learn to live on the land using what they could find to survive and never asked for our help. It is solely my position that while these horses live free in the open and they don't ask for help, they are better for it. It was not until mankind decided to change their way of life did these horses find a different way of life and treatment.
While we understand that most folks would love to own a horse it is not feasible for them. This is why we have created our adopt a horse sponsorship program that allows anyone wanting to help these wild horses keep their spirit alive.
This programs allows for people to look on our site here at, Horses for adoption, while we have given some names, can make contributions to help us to continue to save more wild horses. It would seem that there just as many people who love horses who don't like horses and we are trying to build our library to help to understand the path these beautiful horses have played in developing our country.
Come back again, we're constantly updating our site. Thanks for you support.
