This little fella was brought in by its owner who had to flee the area and is now in the Lamar-Dixon Expo shelter. |
These are some volunteers from the area who were not displaced and are trying to help with the grooming of animals coming in. |

This one street in Slidell that at least has some homes still standing. People are gone but pets are roaming the streets. |
While trees have split most houses in half, at least these are homes to work with, homes in Mississippi have nothing but slabs where there used to be homes. |
Here's a view of several horses that are in the expo area, none of these were rescued from the water, these were brought in by owners leaving the area. |
