Food Drive Pictures and Hurricane Katrina Damage

Volunteer helps unload dog food and loads into trailer

More food and more help is on the way!

This little fella was brought in by its owner who had to flee the area and is now in the Lamar-Dixon Expo shelter.

These are some volunteers from the area who were not displaced and are trying to help with the grooming of animals coming in.

This one street in Slidell that at least has some homes still standing.  People are gone but pets are roaming the streets.

While trees have split most houses in half, at least these are homes to work with, homes in Mississippi have nothing but slabs where there used to be homes.

Here's a view of several horses that are in the expo area, none of these were rescued from the water, these were brought in by owners leaving the area.
