The WHF was the ONLY Nonprofit Organization to received a direct FEMA endorsement letter in support of the 2007 Southern California Fires for its direct involvement.  This support continued through March 2008 as needed.  With this agencies supporting were California Department of Transportation and the U. S. Department of Transportation of which without there support  none this could have worked.  TEAM work is everyone working together for the same common goal.

If you want to help please let us know now!   All of our volunteers will be trained to better understand the system of working together with other organizations by using FEMA's system of communication protocol.  We will require all volunteer's have the ICS 100, NIMS, Animal in Disaster 1 and 2 course and after completion of training you will receive a certificate from FEMA for your certification of completion.  The successful completion of any disaster is everyone working together to complete the task.
