"THE ROUND-UP"
One way the State of Nevada uses to round-up up the wild horses is by using a feed-bait trap systems. The system is used by Estray Manager Mike Holmes by placing two sets of temporary pens, one inside the other. Gives that double protection in case a break out happens he can still contain them. This is one of the most safest Humane ways to remove horses from the range and from a area close to a city with out harm to either horse or people.
Mr. Holmes was nice enough to allow us to go out and make the rounds with him and see the ranges

While most of the land is owned by the Federal government there are a few thousand acres owned by private companies and land owners whom let these wild horses live at home. |
Here in Texas we call this a rock garden. Pick one up and hundreds have grown under it. Yet these wild horses turn over ever rock for food. |
