This will be located here at the Wild Horse Foundation 13140 State Highway 7, Franklin, Texas 77856 

This event is hosted by the RMR Ranch, Home of the Wild Horse Foundation, which supports and is dedicated to the welfare of all born wild equines, Mustangs and Burros. 

No one will be allowed to enter premises without a signed release.  No exceptions.  

This camp will help to provide assistance to all those whom have adopted Mustangs over the years who have a need for more learning and support.  We only demonstrate Gentle Horsemanship Techniques and support only humanely and safely used techniques.  This will be a unique time to learn and be supervised with the professionals watching and showing each skilled used. You must download and send in by October 15, your registration, release and fees. This camp does require for you to have a desire to want learn and know more about the Wild Horses and there rights as parts of our American Heritage. 

We provide several stages of wild horses to work, some first touched, (ground started) some saddled started (semi started) some not ever touched (wild)     

Participants registering will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with the clinicians. This means working with hands on wild horses. 

Some may want to bring there newly adopted wild mustang while others will not.  YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BRING A WILD HORSE. If you decide you want to bring your wild horse to be gentled you must preregister your horse before October 15, 2003. Space is limited. Another RELEASE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR CLINICIANS TO HANDLE YOUR HORSE.  Current health papers and negative coggins is required. This 4 Day event will start off with a Thursday evening social. This social will provide a detailed clinic schedule and  safety meeting.  We have over 25 horses to Gentle from with an adoption of 10 after the clinic. Pre adoptions approval is a must. Friday clinics will start at 8:00 am and each clinic will last 90 minutes with a briefing about each clinic and process learned.  45 minute lunch.   Saturday clinics will start at 8:00 am and each clinic will last 90 minutes with a briefing about each clinic and process learned. 45 minute lunch.  Saturday night will have live music and lots of fun.  Sunday will be an over all clinic learning evaluation and review of gentle horsemanship techniques. Fees :

Participant only 4 days 175.00 includes  3 meals, Breakfast, Lunch and Supper.

Participant daily fee is $75.00 includes meals.

Non-Participant horse participating $400.00.

Participant with horse $300.00

Auditors only $50.00 per day includes lunch only. (Auditors Form Request) 

Spectators only $50.00 per day includes lunch only.

Members of LSER or HFH with proof of letter or membership card daily fee for Spectator $40.00. All other rescues please apply for discount via email to the WHF. 

Bottled water .50  Soft drinks .75   Drinks are included with meal at meal times. Snacks and beverages will be available in between meals for nominal charge

Participant with horse must have current coggins and health papers for 4 day clinic $300.00 per participant/horse. Additional horse is $100.00 limited 2 horse per participant. This fees includes feed and stall. Does not cover medical, ferrier, special feeds or vet services which are on site.

Hotels are with in reasonable distance. (Hotels) Safety Headgear is required. 

If the limited space is full, for participation or horse, by the time you submit your registration, we will return your check and registration form to you.

We have camping-tents areas available. $10.00 per night.  Participants no fee charged.

You are welcome to bring a camper or RV. We do not have RV hookups, so your RV should be self contained.  We will have dump service provided 1 time per day, additional fee may be required. 

We need to know about you (and your wild horse if you are interested in bringing it), so please be specific when filling out the registration form, feel free to use the back and let us know more. We need to know if anyone has a special needs, disability circumstance. You may be contacted by a Survival School representative for more details prior to the bootcamp.

Payment for clinic can be by, check must be received 14 days before clinic or by cashiers check or money order. Mail all payments to: Wild Horse Foundation, P. O. Box 692, Franklin, Texas 7856. Make payments out to Wild Horse Foundation. 

Saturday Night Social will be open to guest, tickets for this event only can be purchased at the gate, cash only at gate, so you can invite someone to enjoy a little Texas Style Bar-B-Que from our own Texas size pit (only weighs just a touch over 2,000 pounds) and can cook over 800 pounds of vittles at one time cooked from the past world champion bar-b-que master himself. Dinner and Social tickets are $25.00 per person or $40.00 per couple.

Rules for Participants

All Participants will follow the Rules or will be asked to leave, No refunds. No exceptions. 

Security will be on site for assistance.

Be on Time. Follow schedule. (Times may change as necessary)

Be Respectful to all property. Be Respectful of other peoples property.

Lights out at 10:30 pm. No exceptions.   

Park in designated areas only. Clinicians and Participants will have priority area. 

All gear will be properly taken care of and stored every night. 

Participants will be on time everyday. 7:30 Check in-time. Breakfast 7:00 a.m.

Participants are responsible for following each Clinicians assigned area.  

Safety is a must, no exceptions. Safety Hats, helmets, hoods will be worn by all participants in the pens with clinicians at all times. Gloves are recommended.

Each participant will work with a number of horses and will remain with clinician while working in any pens. 

Clothing will be dress comfortable wear. Boots will be worn by all participants.  

Each participant will have a skill level assessment and participant level identification tag issued.

Clinicians  may impose other safety rules in each designated work area as they see necessary.

All participant will fill out release forms  prior to working with clinicians. 

All participants are responsible for there own property, any property left with out proper identification will be held at the Wild Horse Foundation until properly identified and picked up.  

NO ALCOHOL IN WORKING AREAS OR DURING CLINIC HOURS. You will be asked to leave, NO REFUNDS.
